I've been in a hot air balloon once, on my honeymoon, on the south island of New Zealand. On the one hand, it was TERRIFYING. If you leaned over the basket, there was absolutely nothing to stop you from going over! On the other hand, we were flying, but it was so quiet, and feeling the air and hearing the sounds from the earth... well, besides the terrifying aspect, it was just serene.
I have this feeling when I watch a balloon go up. It lights up my imagination, it is high above the troubles and cares of those below. It is lighter than air. I was thinking of this feeling of lightness, wonder and calm when I chose the hot air balloon logo for Serenity WP.
